Technical Director

Danny is a very experienced mechanical engineer with a particular interest in sustainable design techniques. He is a Technical Director at Desco and takes specific responsibility for projects secured in the Yorkshire region. Danny is a CIBSE qualified Low Carbon Consultant and BREEAM Accredited Professional and is known for taking a proactive approach to projects and bringing to the table his broad-ranging knowledge and experience of conventional solutions, as well as fresh thinking on alternative solutions to servicing requirements and specialist knowledge of emerging low and zero carbon technologies, renewable energy strategies and building simulation techniques.

Danny takes a proactive approach to learning and keeping himself at the forefront of innovative thinking and best practice, alongside legislation and regulatory requirements – particularly on low carbon and energy efficiency topics. He also delivers briefing sessions and seminars to clients and colleagues on relevant topics such as the new 2013 Part L Building Regulations and its impact on the industry.
