James Rome Receives Level 2 Certificate in British Sign Language
Congratulations to James Rome who has gained his Level 2 Certificate in British Sign Language.
James is a mechanical engineer in our Sunderland office who also runs a small charity group called “HCPT Group 25” outside of work and their regional office for the North East. The charity takes disadvantaged and disabled children to Lourdes once a year.
He has been studying in his own time, continuing during lockdown in a virtual classroom environment to gain the qualification and is hoping to start his level 3 certification course in October. James is ultimately aiming to gain his Level 6 certification as currently they are unable to take deaf/hard of hearing children on the trip as no one who currently goes within the north east can sign.
