Flagship Highlight Active Wellbeing Hub Officially Opens
The new state of the art Highlight Active Wellbeing Hub officially opened its doors to the public on Monday morning (21st June).
Desco are delighted to have provided the mechanical, electrical and pool water services design on this fantastic building for the people of Tees Valley.
The multi million pound wellbeing hub includes a 25m eight-lane main pool, a 25m four-lane learner pool with a movable floor, a leisure pool including race slide and water play features, spectator seating, a 100-station gym, two inter-connected fitness studios, an indoor cycling studio, active and soft play areas, a party room, a café, and external ground and first-floor terraces.
The facility has also been developed to provide a range of NHS services including physiotherapy, cardiac rehabilitation and some maternity services.
