Desco’s Jake Timothy-Dorward Takes the Stage at Footprint+
Desco’s Jake Timothy-Dorward is speaking at this month’s Footprint+ conference in London.
On 13th and 14th May 2026 Footprint+ will bring together the people, projects and ideas shaping the future of the built environment – for two days of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and forward-thinking discussions. Across the days, the programme explores the issues shaping the future of property, from energy systems and retrofit to investment, materials and resilient design.
FOOTPRINT+ is the UK’s leading annual conference dedicated to the transformation of the built environment. This event brings together both public and private sectors to explore innovative solutions, advanced technologies, and strategies for reducing the environmental footprint of the construction sector, supporting a climate resilient development industry.
Jake will be hosting the ‘Decarbonisation of Heat: Navigating the Policy Landscape’ session, where they will be discussing the transition to a new zero carbon-built environment, including low-carbon technologies and electrification of process, the impact and viability of increasingly stringent legislation on different sectors, and critical insight into challenges, opportunities and the path to decarbonising buildings in the UK.
