Constructing Excellence North East Awards Shortlist 2022
The Constructing Excellence North East Awards shortlist was announced 7th April 2022 and we’re thrilled to see 2 projects we designed the mechanical and electrical services for have made the list.
City Hall has been shortlisted for both Building Project of the Year and also Integration & Collaborative Working. City Hall is the new home of Sunderland City Council and a range of other public sector support organisations. The new ‘hub’ development comprises of two linked 5 and 7 storey buildings connected by a large glass atrium and features Grade A Office space, council chambers, courts, mayoral and political party offices. The Regent, Redcar has also been shortlisted in the Building Project of the Year category. The three-storey art deco-style cinema building on Redcar seafront includes 3 screen rooms, café-bar with panoramic sea views and events space for the public use. The winners will be announced at the Awards Dinner on Friday 17th June.
