Therme Project Team Visits NG Bailey OSM Facility
Yesterday (11th June) Steve Irving and Kyle Hughes joined colleagues from Therme Manchester and Sir Robert McAlpine on a visit to NG Bailey OSM facility in Bradford to explore how modern methods of construction and offsite solutions could support the Therme Manchester scheme.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to see first-hand how innovation is being applied within manufacturing environments.
Highlights included live demonstrations of robotic welding, advanced pipe fabrication techniques to minimise on-site works, and precision methods for forming connections, all contributing to safer, more efficient delivery.
It was impressive to see how large service distribution modules and fully modular plantrooms are assembled, offering significant opportunities to reduce time, labour, and complexity on site.
A great, insightful visit, exploring how offsite solutions can enhance project delivery.
