Team Desco complete Newcastle 10k race
Desco’s running club is out of the starter blocks for 2026
Desco took part in this years Newcastle 10k run this on Saturday 17th January, taking in some of the most iconic sights on the route.
Six staff members, Nick Jordan, James Alexander, Aidan Ward, Josh Camm, Andrew Kidger, and Lucas Crowe, all challenged themselves in the morning winter chill to complete the race where they ran along the Newcastle Quayside and passed the Swing Bridge and under High Level Bridge, Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, King Edward VII Bridge and the Redheugh Bridge, and returning the same way.
The race, in support of The Children’s Foundation who focus on improving the health and well-being of children and young people in the North East.
The team all completed the race and each got a medal for finishing.
