Buile Hill Mansion Gets Handed Over

Buile Hill Mansion, a Grade II Listed building in Salford, has been transformed into a premier wedding and events venue

Buile Hill Mansion in Salford has reached completion and has been handed over to Salford Council.

The Grade II listed mansion was built almost 200 years ago and has been out of public use for 20 years. Now, following a full transformation which Desco designed the M&E services for, it will open to the public next year as a premier wedding and events venue.

The restoration has transformed the building into an 8,000sq ft wedding and events venue, complete with 3,000sq ft of registry office services and a 2,000sq ft café and bar area, making it a one stop destination for couples planning their wedding.

Each of the refurbished rooms will be able to hold up to 80 guests, with the adjacent Park Hall able to accommodate larger celebrations featuring a Banqueting Suite, offering a large, flexible space for weddings and events.

The team aimed to restore, preserve, refurbish and enhance the heritage & original architecture of the building, making it a spectacular events venue.

The team included, Identity Consult, Salford City Council, Buttress, SpaceInvader and John Turner Construction Group LTD.
