Desco were delighted to sponsor BCO North x Expo Sunderland: Delivering the Future City 2025 in Sunderland
Desco attended the BCO North x Expo Sunderland: Delivering the Future City 2025 in Sunderland this week, which we proudly sponsored alongside BCO.
The two-day event gave local businesses the opportunity to share knowledge and best practice with other cities and regions. The event reported on Sunderland’s regeneration journey.
Neil Crowe and Simon Martindale attended the event at Sunderland’s City Hall where they attended a range of speeches and discussions on how cities can grow and thrive and create opportunities for residents and businesses.
Speakers at the event included Henry Kippin, Chief Executive North East Combined Authority and Cllr Michael Mordey, Leader of Sunderland City Council.
Keynote speeches included the topic of delivery housing and growth and City Centre Activation, City Centre Repopulation and Future of Work. Speeches addressed the opportunities ahead for Sunderland and the challenges which are being addressed.
Attendees were also given the opportunity to join tours of the Riverside Sunderland site and the venue, including Maker & Faber, The Beam and Culture House, which Desco designed the MEP services for.
