Desco Director completes 123km CBRE Charity bike ride

Kevin Hall took on the longest cycle route in this year’s Great Property Bike Ride.

Desco’s Operations Director Kevin Hall participated in this years CBRE Great Property Bike Ride from Surrey’s Sandown Park Racecourse on Tuesday, 24th June 2025.

Kevin took on the 123km route which included riding through Hankley Common, a James Bond filming location and Box Hill. The ride also included climbing through the beech forests of White Down Lane. He completed the ride in 4.5 hours, on pace with last year’s event.

Logistics kicked off Sunday afternoon, sorting bikes and gear to get into London for the event.

Kevin set the tone by cycling from London to the start line in Esher, a bold move, perhaps not the wisest, but a good warm up.

Kevin said: “It was fantastic catching up with Doug from CBRE and others from across the industry. We even had the pleasure of riding alongside Nico Roche, who brought great energy and motivation to the group.

“And yes, the infamous White Downs climb at 85km with its 10-20% gradient still packs a punch.

“All in all, a brilliant ride with great people, tough hills, and a shared purpose.”
