2004 - 2007

Situated within a conservation area adjacent to the listed Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens, this award-winning scheme involved retaining and adapting part of the original 1817 Mowbray Park Hotel and integrating it into a contemporary, new development.

The scheme houses 37 luxury open-plan style apartments over four floors, arranged around a central atrium. The development also incorporates a restaurant at ground floor level.

The development was named Residential Development of 2008 at the Journal Landmark Awards, was awarded a Building for Life Silver Standard by CABE and won an LABC Quality Award for Regeneration.
