Bsc (Hons) Building Services Engineering

The BSc leads to title of Incorporated Engineer, without the need for further study. The first two years of the course are identical to the HND, covering a wide range of building services. So most of our students opt for the HND initially, and then move on to the BSc.

In the third year, you will study in more depth some of the areas from the first part of the course, with energy and environmental management introduced together with controls. The course so far has covered most areas in building services, but now you will chose whether to study specialist units in either mechanical or electrical disciplines.

Finally, you will undertake a major project working with other professionals such as architects and structural engineers.
