Jayne joined Desco in 2004 as a Marketing Assistant. She previously worked in an admin role at
the Inland Revenue and studied on a part-time basis to achieve a postgraduate diploma in
marketing through the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Jayne's role within the practice has
developed from bid preparation and presentation material, through to managing and
coordinating all of the practice's marketing activity including marketing action plans, developing
new business opportunities, public relations and advertising, website development and
organising corporate and social events.

With a particular interest in promoting the industry to young people, Jayne has also led and
coordinated business initiatives with local schools and colleges including the Enterprise in
Construction Scheme, delivering workshops, presentations and providing mentoring opportunities.
